Guidance on how staff can refer a student to an Academic Language and Literacies for In-Sessional Study (ALLIS) course. How to refer a student:English Language Education are happy to receive referrals from University staff, if they identify a student who may benefit from an ALLIS course to reach their potential. To do this, simply click on the link to the course that you would like to refer your student to, then scroll down to the bottom of the page, and click on "Apply Here". This will lead you to the application form for that course which you can then fill in and submit for consideration.The form is quick and easy to fill out, and you'll just need basic details for the student you are referring:NameUUNGenderNationalityDegree programme nameCollege and SchoolFor these courses we can only process referrals that are made using the application form, and by the application deadline. Students who have been referred by a member of academic staff are given priority when course places are allocated. However, please note that due to the high demand for our courses, places cannot be guaranteed.
