Free, non-credit bearing courses available for undergraduate and postgraduate students from all disciplines at the University of Edinburgh.

The next set of ALLIS courses will open for applications on Monday 9 December 2024. 

Applications for the UG & PGT Taught courses will close Sunday 19 January 2025.

Applications for the ALLIS Postgraduate Research courses will close Sunday 9 February 2025.

Applying for  ALLIS  Courses

Before applying:

  • Read the ALLIS course descriptions to ensure you choose the courses most appropriate to your needs.

After applying:

  • Please be patient! We will contact you after the application deadline to confirm if you have been given a place.
  • Check your email after the application deadline for further communications from us.

Please be aware:

  • You must submit a separate application for each course you apply for, and we strongly advise you to only apply to a maximum two courses per semester, or one course in the case of courses for Post Graduate research students.
